Describes the calculated area of a graphical element that has a closed shape. Any element with a closed shape (the start and end points are the same) can be measured, including line strings and complex chains. Arcs, curves, ellipses, etc., are stroked according to the settings defined by the STROKE command in the Preferences Dialog Scripting Category on the Preferences dialog. If the graphical element is not a closed shape, the AREA variable is set to -1. (INIT / READ-ONLY)
